Most medications are manufactured for people, or for one size of animal. Veterinary compounding is the practice of preparing a medication for one specific patient: your animal, at their weight, in a form they will accept. Your veterinarian writes the prescription. We prepare it, one patient at a time.

Soft chews, chewable tablets, and treat-based preparations that turn medicating into a reward instead of a wrestling match.
Transdermal and PLO gels
Applied to the hairless inside of the ear. No swallowing required, which makes them especially valuable for cats.
Capsules and tablets
Custom strengths not commercially available, sized from tiny size 4 capsules for cats up to equine doses.
Injectables
Sterile preparations compounded for veterinary administration, including large-animal and clinic-use formats.
Ophthalmics, otics, pastes and more
Eye drops, ear preparations, equine pastes and powders, transmucosal films, rapid-dissolve tablets, and suppositories complete the range.

Every compound starts with a prescription. Tell your vet what is hard about medicating your pet; they can prescribe a form that fits.
- 2Send us the prescription.
Your vet can fax it directly to us, or you can bring a written prescription in person. Already at another pharmacy? Call us and we will arrange the transfer.
- 3We prepare and confirm.
We review the prescription, confirm the preparation and price with you, and let you know exactly when it will be ready for pickup or delivery.
For referring veterinarians
- 1Fax or send the prescription.
Include patient weight, species, the strength and dosage form you want, and any flavour or excipient restrictions. We follow your order exactly.
- 2We confirm and consult.
A pharmacist confirms receipt, flags any formulation considerations such as stability or palatability, and suggests alternatives only if you want them.
- 3Your client is looked after.
We coordinate pickup or delivery with the owner and keep your clinic informed. Refills and dose changes are handled against your standing instructions.
