What is live, and what is not
- Live: the formulary, the species and condition pages, and the guides to dosage forms, strengths and flavours, all for reference.
- Not yet enabled: online prescription submission, file uploads, refill requests and ordering. There is no contact form at this stage; email is the way to reach us.
- Compounded medications require a veterinarian’s prescription and may only be prepared and dispensed by a pharmacy licensed by its provincial college.
- The preparations, counts, hours and delivery descriptions shown are illustrative and subject to change.
If your animal needs a compounded medication
Speak with your veterinarian. Compounded veterinary medications are prepared only on a veterinarian's prescription, and only by a pharmacy licensed by its provincial college. Your veterinarian can refer you to a licensed compounding pharmacy in your province and send the prescription there directly. The how it works section explains what happens next.
