The content on this site is general information about veterinary compounding. It is not veterinary advice, pharmacy advice, or a substitute for the judgement of your veterinarian. Decisions about an animal's treatment should be made with a veterinarian, and compounded medications may only be obtained on a veterinarian's prescription from a pharmacy licensed by its provincial college.

3. About compounded medications, in general

• A compounded medication is prepared for one specific animal, to the strength, form, and flavour a veterinarian prescribes. It is made to order and is not a mass-manufactured product.
• Compounded preparations are not reviewed or approved by Health Canada in the way that manufactured drug products are. In British Columbia they are prepared under the standards and bylaws of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Each preparation carries a beyond-use date and storage instructions on its label.

4. Website terms

• The text, images, videos, and design of this website belong to the site's author or licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, other than for personal, non-commercial viewing.
• You agree not to use the site in a way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation, or that attempts to gain unauthorized access to it.
• The site is provided as is, as a beta release. To the extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for loss arising from use of the website or reliance on its content.
• Links to other websites are provided for convenience only.
• These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
